Friends of ours are heading to Mexico in the morning for their wedding. Unfortunately we aren’t going but they had their legal ceremony in town today so we were to be able to attend! It was very relaxed and laid back because they are saving up for their big beach blow out, but still great to be a part of this special day and a good excuse to dress up!

A little update on our beloved dog Mickey and his battle with cancer. We lost him just over a month ago after a 6 month fight against his disease. Losing him was the most heartbreaking thing I have ever experienced and I still miss him everyday. He was such a wonderful dog and friend, I couldn’t have asked for a greater companion. I couldn’t bring myself to write about him before today when I finally washed his bowls and put them away. I know he is always in my heart and running beside me everyday. He had the such a fantastic demeanor, he was so so good, and the cutest face I’ve ever seen. His passing was very peaceful, Ryan and I were both holding him the whole time. I know there will never be another like him but we hope to find a dog one day that carries his spirit, a girl we can name Minnie in his honour. Although my heart aches thinking about him, I also know how lucky I am to have had him love me for the years he was with us. Love you forever Mickey.
